Prototyping Web3 integration to simplify API key management and bridge centralized and decentralized trading experiences. The previous onboarding system was fragmented and technically complex, creating high barriers for first-time users and resulting in a 30% drop-off rate during setup.

By collaborating with product leadership and engineers, I redesigned the API onboarding flow to support five key trading scenarios through a step-by-step guided experience. Using a visual stepper layout, Z-pattern content design, and contextual instructions, the new interface reduced cognitive load and made DeFi setup accessible for non-technical traders.

Through iterative prototyping and user flow mapping, the redesign improved clarity, scalability, and developer handoff efficiency. The result was a reusable design framework adaptable to future DEX integrations, reducing complexity across platforms.
